The Harvest Trauma Recovery Center (HTRC) provides comprehensive behavioral health services to survivors of recent violent crimes who are experiencing post-traumatic stress but are not receiving other mental health care.
Our mission is to provide a safe, yet brave space for survivors of traumatic experiences and violent crimes and their families where they will receive essential assistance and needed services to thrive after experiencing traumatic events.
The HTRC achieves this mission through assertive outreach, advocacy, evidence-based mental health services, and comprehensive case management tailored for each person in our program. At the HTRC, we will meet each client where they are emotionally, physically, and culturally. Our staff includes professional individuals who are multilingual, diverse, and well-equipped to serve youth and adult survivors of physical assault, sexual assault, community violence such as gun violence, and domestic violence, and those who have lost a loved one to homicide.
Additionally, HTRC professionals will provide clients and their effected family members with stabilization support and assistance with any other immediate needs to secure their safety such as housing, transportation, food and clothing, legal advocacy, trauma-informed counseling, and psychiatric care.
We aim to provide the highest level of care for our patients, including short- and long-term psychotherapy for individuals and families and medication management.

The information you share with HTRC is strictly confidential. This includes medical information. HTRC only shares your information with your written permission. The exception is when the law requires the information. This confidentiality applies to all material in your file.
The information release form you signed lets us share information with certain groups. These can include:
HTRC may share information with those groups to determine your eligibility for additional services and resources. We may get information from any person or agency. This includes providers and insurance companies.
HTRC shares general information with the public about its activities, including summary data. Examples are the information in the African American Youth Harvest Foundation Annual Report or posted on the HTRC website. This Will Not include any identifying information.
