Kevin Overton-Hadnot is a native of Austin, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2009 from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Following Stillman, he entered the graduate program at Concordia University Texas in Austin, Texas where he received his Masters of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and Management. He also completed his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas and is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate. He remained in Austin and has been working for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Service’s Prevention and Early Intervention Division. He has been an employee with the State of Texas for over 10 years and currently works as the Director of Contract Management and Oversight at PEI. He has been a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity since 2008. He opened his private practice, Counseling For Us, a counseling and consulting practice. His goal is to be a beacon of hope to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and offer culturally competent care in the field of child abuse and to build upon my experience working with adolescents with disabilities and high Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) scores. He believes there is hope and healing for everyone. In his free time, he loves to workout, read books and spend time with his dog (Kobe). Kevin is supervised by Maria Reyna, LPC-S.
